Every service is dispatched 24/7 from Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth.
Electric vehicles are heavier than the gas cars they replaced and most of them left the factory without a spare. We arrive with EV-rated jack pucks, plug or patch what's repairable, mount your spare or a loaner wheel when it isn't, and set every lug to the manufacturer's torque figure.
Every electric vehicle still runs its computers, door handles, and contactors off a small 12-volt battery, and when that battery dies the car is inert no matter how full the main pack is. We jump the 12V, test whether it will hold, and replace it on the spot when it won't.
EV lockouts are rarely about a key left on the seat. They're phone keys that lost Bluetooth, key cards that stopped pairing, and dead 12V batteries that made the handles inert. We diagnose which of the three you have and open the car without prying a door frame.
A tire change stops dead at a wheel lock with no key or a nut rounded off by an over-torqued impact gun. We carry extraction sockets, reverse-thread removers, and the patience to do it without damaging the wheel, the studs, or the brake face.
Studs snap when they've been over-torqued, corroded, or fought with a bad extraction. We press out the broken stud and press in a replacement at the roadside, torque the wheel to spec, and put you back on the road the same visit.
A blowout on I-635 is not the same call as a flat in your driveway, and we don't dispatch it the same way. Shoulder calls get priority, arrive with amber lighting and cones, and get you off the highway on a spare or loaner wheel as fast as it can be done safely.
Tesla is the highest-volume brand we service in Texas. We carry model-specific jack pucks, know the frunk manual release path when the 12V is flat, handle phone key and key card lockouts, and know how to put the car in tow mode without dragging a locked motor.
Electric trucks weigh six to nine thousand pounds, and standard roadside gear is not rated for them. We bring heavy-capacity jacks, high-torque tooling, and truck-fitment loaner wheels so an electric truck gets the same roadside outcome a sedan does.
Air suspension, 21-inch performance fitments, carbon-ceramic brakes, and paint that a careless jack pad ruins. Luxury EVs need roadside technique, not muscle, and every one of these calls goes to a senior technician.
Repeat dead batteries, phantom warnings, and range that dropped off a cliff have causes, and a parts-swap is not a diagnosis. We test the 12V under load, hunt parasitic draw, read stored fault codes, and report pack state of health in writing.
A fleet EV that stops costs a route, not a repair bill. We run contracted fleet accounts with priority dispatch during operating hours, on-site tire and 12V service at your yard, consolidated invoicing, and reporting on which units keep failing.
Electric vehicles cannot be flat-towed and their motors lock when unpowered. We coordinate flatbed transport with operators who understand transport mode, wheel skates, and where to attach — and we stay on-site while your car is loaded.
EV Rescue runs twelve roadside services out of one Dallas dispatch desk. This page is the directory — every service below has its own page with pricing, response times, the equipment we bring and the situations we get called for most.
If you are reading this stuck on a shoulder: call dispatch, send a location pin, tell us the make and model. Trucks roll immediately and the typical on-scene time is under 30 minutes.
EV tire change and flat repair is our highest-volume service, and the reason is simple: your car has no spare. We arrive with plug and patch kits rated for the load ratings EVs actually carry, EV-rated jack pads that spread load across the reinforced lift points instead of crushing the battery sill, and a torque wrench set to the manufacturer spec rather than an impact gun set to 'tight'.
Blowout and spare install covers the worse version — a shredded sidewall at highway speed where repair is off the table. We can fit a loaner wheel to get you off the road, or coordinate transport to the tire shop of your choice. Wheel lock and lug nut removal and broken lug stud repair handle the two problems that turn a ten-minute tire swap into an all-night ordeal: a missing wheel-lock key, and a stud sheared off inside the hub.
EV jump start and 12V battery service is what you need when the car has gone completely dark. We carry the right jump packs, know where the jump studs and manual releases hide on each platform, and stock replacement 12V and lithium accessory batteries so you are not doing this again next week.
EV lockout service gets you back inside without prying a door or damaging trim — including the cases where a dead 12V is the actual reason the handles will not present. EV battery diagnostics puts a scan tool on the car where it sits so you know whether you have a bad accessory battery, a contactor fault, or something that genuinely needs a service center.
Tesla roadside assistance, Rivian and electric truck roadside, and luxury EV roadside exist because the platforms differ in ways that matter at 2 AM: jack-point geometry, tow-mode procedures, air suspension behavior, wheel torque specs and 12V access are all brand-specific. Getting them wrong is expensive.
Commercial EV fleet roadside is contracted with an SLA, priority dispatch and monthly reporting for rideshare operators, delivery fleets, hotel shuttles and dealership inventory. Tow and transport coordination is the last resort: when the fix genuinely is not roadside, we arrange flatbed transport with EV-correct tie-down and tow-mode handling.
The same on every call.
