Getting started

The questions we hear most, grouped by topic. If yours is not here, call dispatch — we are 24/7 and we would rather answer it live than have you guess on a shoulder.

Pricing and what you actually pay

Every service is quoted as a flat fee on the phone before a truck is dispatched. After-hours, long-distance, toll and garage-access fees, if any apply, are quoted in the same call. There are no surprise line items when the technician arrives.

Most calls fall inside our base zone with no surcharge. Calls more than 25 miles from the nearest staging point, or during severe weather events, can carry a distance or hazard fee — always disclosed up front.

Response time and how to reach us

Typical on-scene response is under 30 minutes across the DFW core — Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Richardson, Garland, Carrollton and the tollway corridors — and in our Houston coverage zone. Outside those areas you get an honest ETA on the call.

The fastest way to get help is to call dispatch and text a location pin in the same minute. A GPS pin saves ten to fifteen minutes over a verbal address, especially on frontage roads, in parking structures and at airport lots. Calls go to a Texas-based human every time — no app queue, no third-party broker.

Why EV roadside is different

Most EVs carry no spare tire, so a flat is a stranding event rather than an inconvenience. Most EVs also depend on a small 12V battery to wake the high-voltage system — when it dies the doors will not open, the screens stay black, the charge port stays shut and there is no power to move the car. Those two facts drive the majority of the calls we run.

Working on an EV also has hard requirements: lifting only at the reinforced jack points with EV-rated pads, respecting brand-specific tow modes, never dragging a car with the drive wheels down, and knowing where the manual releases and jump studs are hidden. That is training and equipment, not improvisation.

Coverage, weather and access

We run through named storms, ice events and extreme heat. We do not close for weather, and we stage extra trucks when the forecast says we will need them.

Parking garages, apartment complexes, gated communities and airport long-term lots are all standard for us — our trucks clear standard garage heights and dispatch coordinates access with property security on arrival.
